What wedding photography on film costs
Every wedding gets its own quote because no two days ask for the same thing. The price depends on how much of the day you want photographed, how many guests you're expecting, where you are celebrating, and whether it runs across more than one day. Any of the additions below can go into the same quote.

Meeting
Getting to know each other
We meet before the wedding, in Berlin or by video call. So on the wedding morning you open the door to a photographer you already know, one who knows how your day is meant to run and who the people around you are.
Coverage
The whole day
A wedding day usually runs ten to twelve hours and I'm there for all of them: the quiet start, the ceremony, the meal, the speeches, and the first hours of dancing.
Gallery
The full gallery
Around 400 to 500 photographs from the whole day, everything worth keeping. I finish every scan myself, one at a time, and they arrive at full resolution in a private gallery, to download and to keep.
Edit
The story of the day
A second gallery holds a shorter set, put in order as the story of the day from beginning to end. That is the one to send to family and friends. Tell me who has to be in it and I will find the frame.
Prints
Ten for the wall
You pick ten photographs and they come back as prints on real photographic paper. For the hallway, above the desk, wherever you pass them every day.
Film originals
The originals stay with you
Stored well, they outlive any hard drive, and they can be scanned again whenever you want.
If your day asks for more
Optional additions
If you'd like more than the gallery alone, I can include any of these in your quote.
More on paper
More prints
Larger sizes, a second set for the family, one favourite for the living room: I can order more from your scans whenever you want them, colour or black and white, on photo or fine-art paper.
Fully analogue if you like: darkroom prints made by hand from your originals, by a master printer who has spent a lifetime at it.
Albums
A book of the day
I have your pictures bound into a lay-flat album on fine paper. We choose them together, or I make a first selection and you tell me what to change.
You don't have to decide now. It's easier once the gallery is in front of you.
Second photographer
For the big days
If your guest list is long or your day runs in two places at once, a second photographer comes along, so you are both covered even when the day splits in two. He shoots film too, so the gallery reads as one body of work.
Super 8
A moving keepsake
For couples who want an analogue film alongside the photographs, I work with an experienced cinematographer who shoots your day on Super 8. The films arrive together with your gallery.

This site depends on couples letting me publish their wedding. If you're happy for me to show some of yours here, I take 10% off your quote.
I always ask which ones first. It changes nothing about the day itself, and nothing about the gallery you receive. If you'd rather keep everything private, that is just as welcome, and you can change your mind later.
